This Privacy Policy describes how Farmapper, LLC, doing business as "Tater Farm" ("Farmapper," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the tater.farm service. Tater Farm is a DBA (trade name) of Farmapper, LLC, which is the legal entity responsible for your data.

1.1 Uploaded Documents

When you use the Service, you may upload document images (such as deed images) or text containing legal property descriptions. These documents are transmitted to our servers for processing.

1.2 Payment Information

Payment transactions are processed by Stripe. Farmapper, LLC (dba Tater Farm) does not directly collect, store, or have access to your full credit card number or payment card details. Stripe may provide us with limited information such as the last four digits of your card, card brand, and billing address for record-keeping purposes.

1.3 Email Address

If you subscribe to our newsletter or create an account, we collect your email address to send transactional notifications and, if you have opted in, periodic updates about the Service.

1.4 Automatically Collected Information

We may automatically collect certain technical information when you visit tater.farm, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, and pages visited. This information is used for operational and security purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

Farmapper, LLC (dba Tater Farm) uses the following third-party service providers in connection with the operation of tater.farm:

• Stripe — Payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy governs their handling of your payment data.
• Anthropic — AI processing of uploaded documents for legal description analysis.
• Mapbox — Map rendering and geospatial visualization of output geometry.
• SendGrid — Email delivery for transactional and marketing communications.

4. Data Retention

Documents uploaded to tater.farm are processed for the purpose of generating map geometry and are not stored long-term after analysis is complete. We may retain limited metadata (such as transaction records and timestamps) for accounting and legal compliance purposes. If you provide an email address, it will be retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

5. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

• SSL/TLS Encryption: All data transmitted between your browser and tater.farm is encrypted using industry-standard SSL/TLS protocols.
• PCI Compliance: Payment processing is handled by Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant — the highest level of certification available in the payments industry.
